In accordance with Brenda’s wishes a private family service has been held.
Brenda’s wonderful lifetime of 104 years ended on Monday 7th September 2026 at Summerset Care Centre.
Brenda was the loving wife of the late Leslie (Greg) and much loved and cherished Mum and mother-in-law of Sue and Jobe (dec), Jill and Don and Mike and Jeannie.

WOW! What an incredible lifetime of experiences: exciting, challenging, ever-changing, but always tackled with determination, capability and an innate love of life and deep concern for others and our environment.
There could hardly be a more generous and quietly proactive supporter of her family, friends, charities, and her local community.
From protesting in the streets to volunteering and donating to a variety of causes, her grit and energy showed us all how we can make a difference.
Brenda’s zest for living was a defining and beautiful virtue.
