Peacefully passed away at Jane Winstone on 3rd October 2026.
Dearly loved wife of the late Brian.
Loved big sister of Joan (dec), Elizabeth, and Bill (dec).
Much-loved mother and mother-in-law of Graham and Helen, Marrianne and Ken, and Carolyn and Tony.
A treasured nana to all her grandchildren, a dearly loved great-nana and great-great-nana.
Gwen will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all her family.
A heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful staff at Jane Winstone for the care, kindness and support they gave Gwen.

I am so sorry to read thatGwen has passed away. As I write this so many memories of her and your dad pass through my mind. Waireka Road was a special place for all of you to grow up and to live, and still is. I am sure you all have special memories of her to hold and treasure. Love to you all. Alison Gedye.
