Peacefully at Whanganui Hospital on Wednesday 23 September 2026, aged 85 years.
Much loved wife of the late Ian.
Loved and adored Mum of Fiona, Andrew and Kerri, and Sarah and Paul.
Treasured grandmother of her eight grandchildren.
Much loved sister of Chris (dec), Stephen, Susan, and Michael.
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Esther’s life at Christ Church Anglican Church, Wicksteed Street, Whanganui, on Wednesday 30 September 2026 at 11:00 a.m. to be followed by a private cremation.

Esther it was a honor to care for you in the community and Loius ( his royal higness) my love goes out to Fiona Loren and Hannah . I am glad that I got to spend time with you in hospital fly free Esther
Thinking of you all at this sad time. We were reminiscing about the Marybank Christmas street parties Esther attended with Sue and Albie, with all and sundry in the wheelbarrow. RIP Esther.
