Peacefully at Jane Winstone Rest Home on Saturday 26 September 2026, aged 90 years.
Much loved wife of the late John.
Loved mother and mother-in-law of Martin, Julia and Ralph Roberts, the late Grant, and Vicki.
Treasured nana of Odette, Enya, and Greta; Josh and Camryn; John; Isaac and Ally and great nana of Joni; Millie, Oscar and Teddy.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Colleen in St Mary’s Catholic Church, Guyton Street, Whanganui on Wednesday 30 September 2026 at 1.30pm to be followed by private cremation

Dear Martin,Julia and Vicki, - my sincere sympathy to you all. Sad to hear of Colleen’s passing, and thanks Julia for letting me know. It has brought back many memories. I must be the last of Colleen and John’s wedding group surviving! I believe I was responsible for introducing them to Urenui, and the many happy family holidays spent there. I have a happy memory taking Colleen’s to lunch, but knowing that her memory was failing.
An appointment here tomorrow doesn’t allow me time to travel down to Colleen’s funeral, and I will be thankful to watch by video link. My thoughts are with you, sincerely, Helen
