Peacefully at Summerset Care Facility, Whanganui, on Wednesday 29 July 2026, aged 83 years.
Husband of the late Helen.
Loved father of Paul (dec) and Shelly, Sharon and Ron, and Leanne and Jason.
Much loved grandad of Mac (dec), Carla, David, and Teagan; Nick, Mitchell, Jaye, and Alicia; Anaya, Mikhala, Jared; and his 13 great-grandchildren.
A loved brother and uncle of his brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews.
Our special thanks to Antoinette for all her care and support of Dave.
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of David’s life in the Forrest Lawn Chapel, 208 Guyton Street, Whanganui, on Wednesday 5 August 2026 at 1:30 p.m. to be followed by a private cremation.

Sorry to hear of your passing both Allan and I have so many memories of not just the Castlecliff Club but surfcasting from the Taranaki Coast to the Horowhenua Coast a few fish caught but alot of laughs and happy times RIP Dave your memory will always be a treasure
