On 20th September 2024 peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family, aged 75 years.
Dearly loved Husband of Dianne.
Much loved Father and Father-in-law of Tim and Sherie, Anthony and Nori, Richard, and Amy and Reece.
A loved Grandad of Patrick, Gemma; Heston, Ruby; Kiera, and Lucas.
A loved Great Grandad of Ryan, and Indi.

My condolences to Lances family at this sad time. We worked together in Whanganui many years ago and we caught up at the retired police lunches often. Lance was a good work colleague. Rest in peace Lance… Merv Bassett

Condolences to Dianne and family. Great to have worked with Lance back in the late 80s. He was an awesome colleague and mentor. He also painted our car and was a master of the car painting trade. He also "allegedly" touched up the odd patrol car scrape that one shift or another turned to custard on (saved on paperwork). My condolences to Lance's family. I met Lance when I was a teenager in Auckland in 1970s
He saved my life back then.
I've moved to Wanganui but didn't get a chance to catch up. We have always remembered and spoken about you and Warrick Lance. You were a great cop. R.I.P. I'm forever grateful.
