Unexpectedly at home in Whanganui on Monday 22 June 2026, aged 76 years.
Much loved husband of the late Gayleen.
Loved and cherished dad of Nikita and David Purvis.
Treasured grandad to Alexis, and Emily.
Loved brother of Joanne, Malcolm, and Raymond.
Will be missed by all his friends in the Zephyr and Zodiac Club.
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Gavin’s life in the Forrest Lawn Chapel, 208 Guyton Street, Whanganui on Monday 29 June 2026 at 11:00 am to be followed by a private cremation.

So very sorry to hear of Gavin’s sudden passing. Gavin was a good friend and loyal customer until my retirement. We remember a couple of fun caravan trips with Gavin and Gayleen to Napier and Ōpunake. We are thinking of you all at this sad time.
