What a total shock to learn of our old mates tragic accident. We had met up in Whanganui a few days prior to Christmas, when Geoff was also meeting up with Rachel and the grandkids. Geoff wearing his father christmas hat and that contagious laugh of his, he certainly looked and sounded the part. Many a great time had together of the years, both in Wangavagus and Christchurch when he lived with us during the EQ times of 2011 and there after, until his Karen came to join him. Sincere apologies for not attending his funeral service but medical pre-arranged appointments prevent this. I know those attending and speaking will do Geoff proud and honour him as should be. Goodbye our friend, gone too early but never forgotten.

Very sad news to here of Geoff's passing. Sincere condolences to Family and friends. Worked with Geoff in Palmerston North many years ago. Plenty of laughs which made life better in our work place. I join with his many friends in saying farewell to a fellow Workmate. Sorry I cannot be there.

Condolences to the family and friends. Geoff was an energetic member of Palmerston North Police that I had the pleasure to know as a fellow member of police. Am now retired in Napier and unable to attend funeral.

Deepest condolences to the family and all Geoff's many friends. Geoff and I worked at Palmerston North police at the same time in the mid '80s. After I left I worked for Geoff when he had his Security business in Palmerston North (Collective Security from memory) Always good for a laugh and great to work with. Very sad.
