Passed away in Whanganui on 3rd June 2026, aged 84 years.
Much loved partner of Elaine Hampton and former husband of Lynette Hartley (dec).
Cherished father and father-in-law of Maree and Darryl, Carmen and Richard, Aaron and Angela, Rebecca (dec), and Carl.
Loved stepfather and father-in-law of Rachael, Michael and Eleanor.
Adored granddad of all his grandchildren.
Michael will be sadly missed by all his family and friends and remembered for his calm and considered nature, his wisdom, and for the many happy memories he leaves behind.
Forever in our hearts.
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Michael’s life in the Forrest Lawn Chapel, 208 Guyton Street, Whanganui on Friday 12th June 2026 at 11:00 a.m. to be followed by a private cremation.
