Of Whanganui, taken away unexpectedly on Saturday 28th September 2024 in his 88th year.
Cherished husband and best friend of Nancy for 57 years.
Devoted and forever loving father and father in law to Lisa and Malcolm Collins, Clint and Elsa Scott, Rachel and George Aulbach.
Proud grandfather to Grant (deceased), Max, Sam, Jaden, Liam, Adam, Isaac and Levi.
An incredibly kind, generous and true gentleman who loved life.
Our lives will no longer be as bright, without you in them.
Les' funeral service to be held at Dempsey & Forrest Lawn Chapel on Friday 4th October at 11am to celebrate his wonderful life.
Followed by his burial at Aramoho Cemetery

Les, you were all that I listened to at your funeral and more but your total goodness is oft only seen by all those who loved you dearly. I have always remembered you for as my life has progressed to this age you were a light that shone. May the good Lord receive you into His total goodness for all that you did show while here with us. Nancy you have a treasure to hold onto, one you can never lose though not seen anymore except deep within. Love to you and a family I only know by word. Thank you Lisa for organising the live stream.
